My name is Sydney Newman, and I'm an illustrator in New York.

For as long as I can remember, drawing has been a way of expressing myself unmatched by anything else. Illustration is a way to take that self expression, and combine it with ideas and narrative to make beautiful pictures.

Within my pictures, I love to incorporate my sense of emotions and expressions, as well as my sense of humor, to make art that is truly unique to me. I hope to be able to reach out to others with humor and expressions that they can relate to and enjoy.
